Ohio State plans drainage field day

Drainage contractors and landowners in the Midwest who want to learn more about drainage installation have another field day to look forward to this summer.

Ohio State University will host a field day on its Lima campus farm Aug. 9. The day will include field demonstrations from OLICA, along with an open-house-style format throughout the day. Bruce Clevenger, an associate professor with OSU Extension who has worked on drainage water management research, will also provide a short educational presentation on the economic benefits of drain tile systems.
