LICA awards national scholarships

Ten students from across have received scholarships from LICA to support their higher education goals. The scholarships are available to active LICA contractors and their relatives. While recipients can pursue any area of study, some of the recipients are majoring in fields related to agriculture and/or engineering.

This year’s recipients are:

• Rachel Bohle, Kingsley, IA – South Dakota State University (nursing);
• Caelen Engelbrecht, Davenport, IA – Iowa State University (agriculture systems technology and environmental studies);
• Ella Farnell, Albrightsville, PA – Lehigh Carbon Community College (communications);
• Ellie Janda, Blue Hill, NE – Dordt University (civil engineering);
• Paige Kocher, Flat Rock, IL – Vincennes University (pre-med);
• Emily Kraft, Kingsley, IA – Northwestern College (elementary education);
• Monica Krutis, Warren, NJ (chemical engineering);
• Caden Kuberski, Pearl City, IL – Southwest Wisconsin Technical College (agricultural power and equipment technician);
• Megan Vetter, Warren, NJ – University of New Hampshire (animal science)
• Logan Word, Camden, MI – Michigan Technological University (forestry)
