People moves: ADS elects new board chair, forms sustainability committee

June 13, 2022  By Drainage Contractor

Drainage specialists Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) has elected a new board chair, current director Robert M. Eversole. He succeeds C. Robert Kidder, the current chair who recently announced that he will not stand for re-election at ADS’ annual shareholders meeting.

On top of Eversole’s election, ADS has also formed a formal sustainability committee. The efforts had previously been carried out by a sub-committee of the nominating and corporate governance committee. Now as a formal body, the sustainability committee will be responsible for board oversight of ADS’ sustainability and environmental strategies and policies, including ADS’ science-based targets to reduce overall GHG. Current director Michael Coleman will chair the committee, which is also comprised of directors Anesa Chaibi and Anil Seetharam

“I am confident in the future of ADS under the leadership of the Board and management teams and am excited for what their future holds,” said Kidder in a statement. “I believe the timing is right for me to retire following the positive strides ADS has made over the last several years, including the successful acquisition and integration of Infiltrator Water Technologies, the strong investor conviction in ADS’ market position and, importantly, the depth and breadth of the leadership teams. I have full confidence that Bob Eversole will be a great leader in his new role as Board Chair.”
