Ontario’s 2020 Drainage Engineers Course and Conference cancelled
The Drainage Engineers Course and Conference has been postponed to October 2021.

The 2020 Drainage Engineers Course and Conference scheduled for October 22 and 23, 2020 has been postponed until 2021 due to COVID-19 and the uncertainty of offering large events.
The annual event, which takes place in Guelph, ON, is hosted by The Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE) Land Drainage Committee. The 52nd Drainage Engineers Course and Conference is postponed to Thursday and Friday, October 21 and 22, 2021 at the Guelph Holiday Inn.
However, the Land Drainage Committee states that the 2020 Drainage Practitioners Meeting is still scheduled on Thursday, October 22, 2020. The time and format (face-to-face or video-conference) will be confirmed in September.
In previous years, the Drainage Engineers Conference has covered topics such as the costs against parties under the provincial Drainage Act, case studies of projects, managing conservation concerns, municipal drainage and guidance on particular topics for drainage engineers.
