U.K.-based trencher manufacturer Mastenbroek has recorded a major milestone: a record number of machines exported to the Australasia market. The trenchers are, according to Mastenbroek, rising in popularity in Australia and New Zealand, with KT Mattschoss becoming the latest company to import the machines. This past month, Mastenbroek shipped its third machine – its 20/15 trencher – to the continent, marking a milestone for the manufacturer.
The recipient, Kurt Mattschoss, primarily installs subsurface land drainage to aid in his growing operation of table grapes, citrus, pistachios, almonds and avocados. Despite COVID travel restrictions, he was able to get a close-up look at the machine through another area farmer.
