Possible federal funding for drainage

ILLINOIS | The village of Fisher, IL, is receiving $246,000 in federal American Rescue Plan Act funding over two years. While one of the village’s main priorities is a second tornado siren, town officials have stated that drainage projects could also be a priority for the funding.

Funding committed to projects

NEW JERSEY | Council for Ocean City approved an $18.4 million bond ordinance for a series of infrastructure improvements throughout the town. Among that funding is $5.5 million in drainage improvements to ease flooding in neighborhoods vulnerable to stormwater.

OHIO | The Village of West Lafayette received two grants from the Ohio Department of Development, including a $500,000 Critical Infrastructure Grant for flood and drainage improvements.
