Oct. 11, 2013, Exeter, ON – Unicor GmbH, located in Hassfurt, Germany, has acquired majority ownership of Adescor Inc. located in Exeter, ON.
Adescor’s key market is in North America. The company develops, builds and distributes downstream equipment for the production of corrugated pipes, including saws, cutters, bell inline trimmers and numerous other pieces of equipment used in pipe extrusion plants.
Unicor and Adescor have worked together successfully on the North American market for several years, collaborating on numerous projects. Tony Kime, former representative of Unicor and ongoing shareholder of Adescor, will run the business of Adescor as president. The previous president, Bill Kime, will retire, but remain as a consultant in the company.
