Tulsar Canada finds a new home in Brant county, Ontario

May 30, 2017  By Drainage Contractor

Tulsar Canada has recently settled into a 135,000 square foot facility in Cainsville in the industrial area just east of Brantford, Ont., hoping to quadruple both its production and its workforce, adding up to 150 new jobs to the area. There are currently 50 people working in engineering, customer service, marketing, administration, manufacturing and quality control.

“We are excited about our future in this community,” George Micevski, President of Tulsar Canada, said at the ribbon cutting ceremony. “It is in a great location between Buffalo, Toronto and Detroit, has an economy that is growing and a healthy industrial sector – a quick drive along Highway 403 to see some of the brands with a Brant address is testament to that.”

Tulsar Canada, a division of the Louisville, KY,-based Zoeller Corporation, is a leading engineer and manufacturer of water and wastewater pump control panels, each custom designed and built in Canada to the unique requirements and specifications of its clients.

Founded more than 36 years ago in Kitchener, Ont., Tulsar’s products range from the Sentry – a Wi-Fi-enabled residential high water alarm – to engineered custom water and wastewater control panels for industrial, commercial, recreational and municipal clients.

Zoeller Canada, the distribution arm of Zoeller Corporation, will also be housed under the same roof in Brant. Zoeller Canada supports its pump customers with engineered water solutions for the same customers and industries.

Mr. Levac praised the strong economic relationship between Canada and the United States that enables companies like Tulsar to grow, and thanks Zoeller Corporation and Tulsar Canada for showing faith in Brant.
