Springfield Plastics receives certification for drainage pipe

Springfield Plastics Inc. has received certification for the use of 100 per cent virgin resin in drainage pipe for the 16th consecutive year. 

Organizations like ASTM and the United States Department of Agriculture National Resources Conservation Service have been setting the standard by requiring the use of virgin resin materials for many years. Virgin resin provides a consistent, flexible material throughout the pipe; thereby preventing blowouts, soft spots and cracks when unrolling the pipe.
