Ohio farmer who sued Toledo over Lake Erie Bill of Rights speaks

The Lake Erie Bill of Rights (LEBOR) gave Toledo, OH citizens the right to sue polluters on behalf of the lake and declared that Lake Erie itself had a right to exist, flourish and naturally evolve.
“They were going to try to grant the lake rights and give people the right to sue anybody that they felt was harming the environment,” said Mark Drewes, a farmer in Wood County, Ohio, noting that farms could be at risk of being sued being of the vagueness of the bill.
