Drainage design workshops set for Minnesota and North Dakota
A drainage design workshop focusing on the planning and design of agricultural tile drainage systems to meet profitability and environmental objectives will be held at the North Dakota State College of Science Feb. 11-12 and at University of Minnesota – Crookston on March 5-6.

Iowa farm bureau asks for state help to close drainage wells
The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation is asking lawmakers to set aside enough money to help close the agricultural drainage wells that remain in the state as well as more money for grants to farmers for soil and water conservation projects.

Subsurface drainage workshop to be held in Missouri
The University of Missouri, along with the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Missouri Land Improvement Contractors Association, will host a drainage workshop in Columbia from February 12-14, which will involve education and hands-on training for contractors.
