California land responding well to tile drainage
The area of study in California's San Joaquin Valley undertaken by the U. S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service was practically a wasteland before the drainage was installed. But as Don Curlee wrote in June, parts of California's San Joaquin Valley have responded to soil drainage like a dog to a bone.
