Iowa counties deny lawsuit’s pollution claims

June 2, 2015, Des Moines, Iowa – The three rural Iowa counties targeted by Des Moines Water Works have filed a response to a federal lawsuit regarding water quality, issuing a string of denials to the utility’s claims that drainage districts in northwest Iowa are polluting central Iowa’s water supply.

As The Des Moines Register reports, the lawsuit will now enter the discovery phase of litigation.
