Focus on drainage for upcoming Purdue Farm Management tour

The 87th annual Purdue Farm Management tour will take place in Huntington and Wabash counties in Indiana over June 27 and 28 and will show producers innovation that can be applied to their own operation.

The tour is presented by the Purdue Center for Commercial Agriculture, Purdue Extension, and a variety of participating farms. In particular, Bowman Farms focused their attention on drainage as a way to improve yield and profitability. Part of the tour on June 28 will include looking at how the Bowmans used state-of-the-art drainage equipment and precision ag technology to install tile. | READ MORE
