Saskatchewan offers $5 million for farm water management support

The provincial government of Saskatchewan will invest $5 million in the Saskatchewan Conservation and Development Association to advance farm water management in the Canadian prairie province. 

The Conservation and Development Association is a governing body aimed at improving surface water management. The funds will help with project development, engineering, legal and mediation support.

The Water Security Agency is working with hundreds of landowners on more than 20 organized drainage projects making up over 200 thousand acres, making sure they comply with the agriculture water management strategy.
