
The newly opened DeKalb County History Center in Georgia has a piece of drainage history. A piece of red clay drainage tile from the local tile factory is on display.
Former DeKalb County board chair Bob Pritchard wrote an essay on how the tile factory shaped Hinckley and farming in general. It will appear in the summer issue of “Cornsilk,” published quarterly by the DeKalb County Historical-Genealogical Society.
