Farmers share impact of conservation practices

Staff and elected supervisors from Area VII Southeastern Minnesota Soil and Water Conservation districts gathered on the Mike and Kay Peterson Farm in Northfield, MN, earlier this month to learn about the impact of conservation programs from local farmers.
Local farmers shared how they took advantage of cost-share opportunities to install sediment basins, grasses waterways, saturated buffer strips, and a controlled drainage system, among other conservation practices. | READ MORE
