The team behind Drainage Contractor
magazine, an industry stalwart for more than half a century, is pleased to announce the inaugural North American Drainage Conference in 2024.
Held March 5 at the L.V. Eberhard Center in Grand Rapids, MI, this one-day event aims to bring together contractors, landowners, equipment manufacturers and extension/agency representatives to network, hear exciting new research and learn from the best.
Speakers include Matthew Helmers (Iowa State University), Eileen Kladivko (Purdue University), Jacob Handsaker (Hands-On Tiling and Excavating and 2023 GroundBreaker recipient) and more. Speakers’ sessions will focus on topics that matter to the modern contractor and landowner – maximizing yield, choosing the right tiling system and working with multiple stakeholders to create systems that work for everyone.
“The drainage industry is growing tremendously – not just in scale and reach, but also in sophistication,” said Drainage Contractor
Editor Bree Rody. “Over the years, our readers have shown a huge appetite for even more educational content. This conference highlights tech, tools and the future of drainage, all under one roof.”
"For over 50 years, Drainage Contractor
has been a trusted source of information for the industry. Our new event is a natural extension of our commitment to the sector,” said Group Publisher Michelle Bertholet. “The impressive lineup of speakers underscores the innovation that is poised to move this industry forward.”
