Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. (ADS) hosted a grand opening event for its new manufacturing plant in Harrisonville, MO, on Aug. 9.

Located approximately 40 miles south of Kansas City, MO, the 35-acre facility boasts approximately 50 employees and produces a wide range of ADS products, including ADS N-12 high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe and the company’s line of HP polypropylene pipe.

The full portfolio of ADS products is available at the new location, including ADS N-12 HDPE pipe, HP Storm and SaniTite polypropylene pipe, StormTech chambers, Inserta Tee and other fittings, Nyloplast drain structures and geosynthetic fabrics and grids.

“This new plant allows us to meet the growing demand for all of our products in the region, while helping reduce the cost and time of delivery to our customers,” said Joe Chlapaty, chairman and CEO of ADS. “Harrisonville provided an ideal site through land availability, close access to rail and interstate connections and a community with the right work force skills.”
