National LICA Winter Convention educational seminars

January 15, 2016  By Drainage Contractor administrator

The National LICA Winter Convention is fast approaching. Here’s a sneak peak of the educational seminars on the agenda.

Employees and technology
Most businesses today use smartphones, tablets etc. When an employee leaves, what does the company do to prevent electronic data from being taken? This seminar presented by Robert Fischer will help.

Rob is a shareholder and litigation manager in the Austin, Texas office of Jackson Lewis P.C.

Rob has considerable experience in drafting employment-related contracts, and in litigating claims regarding contracts and trade secrets. Rob’s litigation practice includes bringing claims on behalf of employers against former employees (and often their new employers) for breach of non-competition agreements, theft of trade secrets, breach of the duty of loyalty, unfair competition and related claims, as well as defending against such claims. Rob has litigated non-compete and trade secrets cases in 18 states and Washington, D.C.
