FAA plans to integrate UAVs into agriculture

Oct. 19, 2014, Delphos, OH – The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is working on plans to integrate unmanned aircraft vehicles (UAV) into agriculture.

As the Delphos Herald reports:

“UAVs have a number of agricultural uses. They can help farmers gather data about their farms, including real-time areial photographs of their fields.”

UAVs can allow farmers to scout for drainage issues, as well as weeds, insects, diseases, plant health issues and more.
